Your account

You can start playing by choosing a display name. That name and the account behind it are yours to use, not to sell, share or transfer. If you add an email address and a password, keeping the password to yourself is your responsibility.

One person, one account. Creating accounts in bulk, automating play, or using more than one account to influence a ranking is not allowed.

Choosing a name

Your display name is visible to other players, so it has to be something we're willing to show them. Names that are abusive, hateful, sexual, or that impersonate us, our staff or another player are not permitted. Some names are reserved. We screen new names automatically and review the ones that are flagged.

If a name breaks these rules we may change it, hide it, or suspend the account. Where the breach is deliberate we won't always explain which measure we applied.

Fair play

Don't use software to play for you, don't exploit bugs to gain an advantage, and don't interfere with matches other people are playing. If you find a way to break the game, tell us — we'd genuinely rather hear about it from you.

We may reset scores, adjust rankings or close accounts where we find manipulation. Rankings exist to be a fair record; that's the only reason we defend them.

Advertising

Our free games are paid for by ads. Interfering with ad delivery, or attempting to generate ad revenue artificially, ends the account.

Availability

We aim to keep our games running and generally succeed, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, modes may be added or retired, and a game may eventually be discontinued. If we ever shut something down we'll give notice inside the app first.

Content and ownership

The games, their code, artwork, word lists and the FounderPanda name belong to us. You may play them, share links to them and write about them. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or republish them.

The display name you choose stays yours; by using it in the game you allow us to show it to other players in the places you'd expect — leaderboards, match history, friend lists and profiles.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from inside the game, or through the deletion page linked in each game's footer. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll explain why unless doing so would help someone work around our protections.

No warranty, limited liability

The games are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using them. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and significant changes are announced inside the app. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
